Increasing customer satisfaction through honest and transparent management

Hyundai E&C has enjoyed the support and patronage of its customers for more than 60 years. In return, we have delivered honest and transparent management. To celebrate the new Hyundai spirit, all our employees promise to fulfill the company’s corporate social responsibilities and take the lead in establishing a more open and honest management culture within the Korean construction industry.

We introduced our ethical management program in 2004 to reflect our CEO’s insistence that we live up to our corporate social responsibilities. We are proud to be part of a corporate culture in which ethical management is taken so seriously.

  1. Financial reporting internal control system

Hyundai E&C is developing a more transparent basis for its decision-making by introducing computerized systems to enhance the efficiency of its operations, increase the reliability of its financial statements, and ensure the observance of all applicable laws and regulations.

  2. WIN-WIN management

Hyundai E&C is committed to ensuring that its relationships with its business partners are always fair and transparent. We have established the foundations for a more open and honest -commerce system through a jointly-operated data-linkage system and a corporate culture that encourages mutual growth through joint technological development and overseas expansion. In addition, we encourage the develo-pment of transparent management on a nation-widelevel by conducting surveys to determine the satisfaction levels of our subcontractors, and offer training in ethical anagement on an ongoing basis.

  3. Fair Trade

We have established an in-house fair trade compliance program to guard against any violations of the Monopoly Regulation and Fair Trade Act and carry out a variety of fair trade-oriented training and management programs.
