Hyundai E&C’s cumulative orders for urban renewal projects exceed 1.2919 trillion won

Korea’s primary builder maintains its foremost position in the urban renewal market


Hyundai E&C’s cumulative orders for domestic urban renewal projects have exceeded 1.2919 trillion won this year by winning an order to redevelop the Haga District in Jeonju-si. Hyundai E&C was ranked the first in terms of the amount of orders received for urban renewal projects in the domestic market in 2020.


Hyundai E&C was selected to redevelop the Jeonju Haga District on May 22. This redevelopment project valued at 424.6 billion own aims to transform the area into a high-class Hillstate-branded town which has future value, convenient transportation, and excellent environment. The Jeonju Haga District project includes the construction of 27 apartment buildings of 17 floors above ground and two basement levels in the 324,539 square-meter area.


Hyundai E&C successfully received the deal to reconstruct Hannam Sibeom Apartment on May 9 and another order to redevelop Geumoh District 1 in Uijeongbu-si on the same day. THE H Maison Hannam project includes the construction of four apartment buildings of four floors above ground and four basement levels in the 7,345.4-square meter area, while the Uijeongbu Geumoh District 1 project is to build 11 apartment buildings of 32 floors above ground and three basement levels in the 32,509-square meter area. In addition, Hyundai E&C also won an order to reconstruct Sinam District 10 in Dong-gu, Daegu, on April 30. The Sinam District 10 project is designed to build 13 apartment buildings of 15 floors above ground and three basement levels.
