Lusail Plaza Tower, Qatar

Lusail Plaza Tower is attracting attention as the tallest building in Qatar. The project consists of four buildings, with Hyundai E&C tasked with constructing two of the tallest 70-story towers. The Lusail Plaza Tower features an oval shape that rotates 90 degrees as it rises, naturally shifting the viewing axis outward to provide stunning views of the surrounding city and coastline. The aluminum façade is designed to respond to sunlight, featuring overhanging profiles that wrap around the structure. The distinctive curved design of the façade necessitated advanced construction capabilities, as the layout varies on each floor. Hyundai E&C has completed the exterior and is currently working on the interior, with final completion expected in 2025.
