The Incheon Asian Games Main Stadium, designed to embody the image of soaring toward the world, served as the venue for the opening and closing ceremonies of the 17th Asian Games in 2014, along with athletics and cricket events. Covering a total area of 113,620㎡ and comprising five floors, the stadium features over 62,000 seats, an auxiliary stadium, and a variety of additional facilities. The stadium's 32,000 adjustable spectator seats, the largest in Asia, are currently being transformed into commercial and green spaces for public and commercial use. If needed, the stadium can be expanded to accommodate up to 100,000 seats, enabling it to function as the main venue for large-scale events such as the Olympics.
